The Bačvice summer cinema was opened in 1956 and is one of the most special cinemas on the Adriatic. The smell of pines, the sound of the sea, the stars, the moon and the ships passing by the sea in the background are an additional bonus for all cinema-goers and fans of quality film prorgam. Screenings often require an additional ticket, so no one objects to sitting on the wall or watching a movie from a beach towel. It is this casualness that gives the cinema an authentic Mediterranean atmosphere.
Kino Mediteran and the Center for Culture and Lifelong Education Zlatna vrata are proud to take over the management of the Bačvice Summer Cinema in 2018. The program consists of independent films from European and world cinema, commercial films, films for children and film classics.
TICKET PRICE LIST
Movies of American production: 5 € (37,67 kn)
European and other independent movies 4,5 € (30,14 kn)
Dubbed movies for children: 4,5 € (33,91 kn)
In the cinema there is a bar with fresh popcorn, soft drinks and a selection of local wine and beer.
The cinema is currently not fully adapted for people with disabilities. Accompanying a person in a wheelchair is entitled to one free ticket per screening.
In case of cancellation of the screening due to bad weather, you can use the ticket for the same movie at a new date or request a refund at box office or at tickets@kinomediteran.hr (for tickets purchased online). In case of being late for a screening-refund is not possible. Thank you for you kind understanding!
